FMI represented at the NI Science Festival

🧬 The FMI team had a fantastic day out of the lab on Saturday (14th Feb) at the Johnston Cancer Research Centre Open Day as part of the NI Science Festival

It was great to connect with the community and chat about the work happening at FMI, and it was especially rewarding to see so many people curious and engaged about the future of healthcare. 💬

Alongside this, our Bioinformatics team ran short hands-on tutorials, giving visitors a glimpse into how data and technology help uncover answers in cancer research. 💻🧪

Huge thanks to the JCRC team for having us, and to everyone who stopped by to ask questions, learn something new, or chat about science in Northern Ireland. 🙌
