Minister Matthew Patrick MP Visits the Future Medicines Institute

We were delighted to welcome Northern Ireland Office Minister Matthew Patrick MP to the Future Medicines Institute (FMI) at Queen’s University Belfast.

During the visit, we showcased how the FMI’s £55 million, industry-led initiative is driving innovation in precision medicine and strengthening Northern Ireland’s position as a global leader in health and life sciences.

The Minister saw first-hand how collaboration between government, academia, and industry at the FMI is advancing research, improving patient outcomes, and supporting the UK’s Modern Industrial Strategy.
