FMI Visits Fusion Antibodies: Driving Innovation Together
Today, the FMI team was on the move, visiting our partners at Fusion Antibodies to share progress and insights from our research hubs. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect in person, exchange ideas, and showcase how our collective efforts are driving innovation across both proteomics and antibody development.
At the Proteomics hub, our scientists have been focusing on optimising processes for mass spectrometry, refining workflows to improve sensitivity, throughput, and reproducibility. These improvements are helping us deepen our understanding of complex protein profiles and accelerate the identification of key molecular targets that underpin therapeutic discovery.
Meanwhile, the Antibody Development hub highlighted progress across its discovery programmes, where their approaches are helping to enhance antibody generation and optimisation for future research and development.
The visit really highlighted how bringing together expertise from different teams and disciplines helps accelerate research. By combining diverse perspectives and skills, we’re able to move faster, think bigger, and tackle complex scientific challenges more effectively.
A huge thank you to everyone at Fusion Antibodies for the warm welcome and insightful discussions. It’s always inspiring to see what can be achieved when teams come together with a shared passion for innovation and progress.
Here’s to continued collaboration, discovery, and scientific excellence!
