Amira Software Training Program

We recently took part in an engaging 3-day training program on Amira Software, specifically tailored for 3D high-content image analysis generated by our CellInsight CX7 High Content Screening System.

Over the three days, we explored:

🔹 Fundamentals of Amira and workflow navigation

🔹 3D image processing and segmentation techniques

🔹 High Content Screening (HCS) tools and automation

🔹 Deep learning & AI-assisted 3D analysis

🔹 Practical exercises using real-world datasets

FMI researchers Catherine Higgins, Andrew Shaw, Sarah McFetridge and Claudia Hamilton were trained by Sarawuth Wantha (Thermo Fisher Scientific) and Sumair Usmani (Amira Software), whose expertise and guidance made the sessions highly insightful and hands-on.

We look forward to applying these 3D analysis skills to unlock deeper insights from our partner’s CX7 datasets!
